Born of a June Jam Ltd. desire to help complete and maintain the Kent Co., Vietnam memorial in Dover, Del., members of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 850 have joined with members of June Jam Ltd., and the American Legion to host a benefit concert.

Our 2nd annual Nam Jam will be held at the American Legion’s Walter L. Fox Post # 2 in Dover on Saturday, July 9, 2011, from 2 to 10 p.m. Food and beverages will be available from the American Legion with the proceeds going to the memorial. No coolers or BYOB will be allowed on the premises due to legal reasons.

Tickets are $20 each or $35 per couple.

Entertainment information will be forthcoming, but will include various bands.

There will be 50/50s, raffles and a silent auction. We will have T- shirt’s and “Nam Jam” patches for sale with 100% of all net profit going to the memorial.

The entrance will be between Legion post and the Main Stay Suites Hotel, with parking in the Blue Hen Corporate Center. A people mover to shuttle people to the area is planned.

Our first Nam Jam was a huge success! There were great bands, food and company. We hope you will make a day of it!
